How to import the MSIE Active X control with C++Builder.

If you have ever seen programs that have their own web browser, built in.  Want to do that in your own programs.  Well if you have Borland C++Builder 3 (I don't think this works on BCB1) or higher and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 (Im not to sure about Internet Explorer 3) or higher you can make your own web browser.

Step 1: Open CBuilder.
Step 2: Click File -> Close All.  Save changes if you must.
Step 3: Click on Component -> Import Active Control.
Step 4: Scroll down the list of controls untill you come across a entry called "Microsoft Internet Controls (Version x.x)" (Replace x with a version number.  On my PC it sais 1.1).
Step 5: Click on that entry.
Step 6: In the Class Name box should appear one of the following:

 TWebBrowser_1
 TWebBrowser
  or
 TWebBrowser
  or
 TWebBrowser_1_Proxy
 TWebBrowser_Proxy. 

Step 7: If _Proxy appears at the end of any of the Class Name items, delete the _Proxy text.  It's just anoying.
Step 8: Click on the Install Button.
Step 9: If any error are reported contact msiexctrl@mindloop.cjb.net for more help.
Step 10: Make sure the Controls appear in the Active X tab on your controls list (unless you put it somehwere else).

Your done.  You can now use your MSIE active X control in CBuilder.
