How Do I make my BCB apps not require any extra Run Time files? Like Delphi!
This is the only bad thing about CBuilder. Your EXE's and DLL's always require some DLL's and BPL's when you compile
them. Well that is no longer.
To make your project not require any runtime files (like Delphi) follow the following steps.
Step 1: Open the project you want to make RunTime file less.
Step 2: Click on the Project -> Options, menu.
Step 3: Go to the Linker tab and make sure the "Use dynamic RTL" check box is unchecked.
Step 4: Now go to the Packages tab and make sure the "Build with Runtime Packages" check box is also unchecked.
Step 5: Click OK.
Your done. Make sure your click Project -> Build
NOTES:
This will make the size of your exe/dll much bigger, but not as much as what including all those BPL's are.
